March 28, 2010

Hi,
What a busy week I had with school and weekend plans. I have been sleeping so well at night. Almost 12 hours straight and only asking for one bottle during the night. My parents are getting lots of sleep now also, so we are one happy family.
I got to go to a wedding Saturday at a church for Pete and Karin (daddy and mommy's friend). It was so pretty. Karin looked like a princess in her dress. I was a good girl during the ceremony. I didn't get to go to the grown up party afterwards, but I got to hang-out with my babysitter, Allie. Her and I played for awhile then I slept for the rest of the night.
I didn't get to meet my Uncle Jim Jim on Friday because once again I fell alseep before our guest arrived. I always do that. I try to stay up, but I get really fussy around 7:30pm and I need to go to bed. Mommy said that I get to meet him and my cousins in a few wks.
I have another busy week. I get to go to an Easter egg hunt on Thursday and I meet the Easter Bunny himself on Friday. F-U-N!!! I also get to meet Auntie Jen and Patti this Saturday. They are coming to meet me for the first time. Wow, mommy and daddy always have fun plans for me. I'm a pretty popular girl. I hope you have a great week yourself.

Hello Friends and Family,

Did everybody have a great St Patrick's Day? Mommy got me a green onesie that said, "I'm a McCutie" on it. She's a funny mommy. Sometimes I think she thinks I'm a babydoll because she loves dressing me up so much. When do little girls get to pick out what they want to wear?

Daddy weighed me the other night and I'm up to 14 pounds. I guess drinking all those bottles is starting to pay off. I go to the doctors next Friday (April 2nd) for a check-up. I will keep you posted on the details.

Which reminds me, Mommy said that if I'm a good girl (like I would ever be bad) that I get to meet the Easter Bunny. Do you know the Easter Bunny? Do you get to wear a girly dress then sit on his lap for pictures? Will he bring you an Easter basket? I have been looking out the windows to see if he is hopping around, but no luck yet.

I was allowed to watch Nick Jr today. Nick Jr is a TV station that plays cartoons. Mommy said that I'm only aloud to watch it when she needs a few minutes to make dinner and daddy is busy in his office. I get excited when they sing songs.
Don't tell my parents, but I like to watch basketball also. I like to see the players run back and forth. Daddy and mommy think I'm asleep in my swing or in my bouncer, but I'm not. Go Buckeyes!!!
Talk to you next week. I will have lots to say because I will meet my Uncle Jimmy (my mommy's brother), I get to go to a wedding, my babysitter will be watching me for the first time, Uncle Travis and Auntie Jerene are coming for a visit. Wow!!!

Smooches,
Elia J Bingham

PS Does my diaper make my butt look big?

Hello,

I hope everybody is having as much fun as I am these days. Now that my schedule is easier to follow and I'm not a big cry baby all the time, I get to go a lot more places with my parents.

This weekend I went to Cami's house. My Auntie Erin (Cami's mommy) had a St. Patrick's Party. Cami, Sydney and I don't know why everybody was wearing green and eating green food. All the grown ups looked really funny.

I still have not rolled over yet, but I have great control of my head now. I really enjoy my tummy time more. Daddy keeps trying to show me how to crawl. I say to daddy, "One thing at a time mister." Mommy wants me to roll over. Daddy wants me to crawl. Ooohhh, the pressure I am under. I can't wait until they both go on vacation and Nina pampers me all day.

I have been playing a lot on my activity mat. I like to pull on my monkey to eat his foot because I like feeling soft stuff in my month. Also, I am drooling a lot more since I am always playing with my tongue.

Well, I should go to bed. Another big day at the Goddard school. I think a couple of new babies start tomorrow. I'm not the new kid on the block anymore.

Big Hugs,
Elia J
PS Don't you love my blue eyes?

Happy Sunday,

Do you know who the fastest boy is? My Daddy!!! Mommy took me to the Arnold Classic to see my daddy run in a race. He ran so fast that he spit up a lot after he ran past the finish line, ha-ha. I was pushed around all day in my stroller that Nina and Papa got me. Mommy and I love it. We can't wait until Spring/Summer for when we can go for walks all the time.

It's so pretty out today since the sun is shining. I'm tired of all this cold weather. Mommy makes me wear a hat all the time and we have to run in and out of places with me completely covered. How am I suppose to see the world with a blanket over my carrier?

Guess what? I held a boys hand last week at school. His name is Harrison. We were playing on the activity mat and he reached for my hand. No worries since I'm a smart girl. I know he flirts with everybody.

Nothing else to tell you about. I still have not rolled over. I'm still sleeping like a baby. Mommy and daddy say that I still seem to get prettier and prettier each day.

Baby hugs and kisses,
Elia Bing

Hello Everybody,

Do you like my newborn pictures? Mommy's friend, Erin Float, gave me my first modeling job. As you can tell, I was pretty tired that day. I have grown so much since these were taken back in January, but I'm still a cutie pie. Ha-Ha.

I know it's been about 2 weeks since my last post. What's the new thing I have been doing? Well, I have discovered my hands. I really like the right one. I don't know what I'm suppose to do with them, but I sure do like looking at them for hours. I like to make two fists like a boxer. "If you touch my ducky, I will send you to Dukesville like Grandpa Sammy" That's a family joke for Nina and PaPa. My parents can't leave me on my changing table because I think I'm going to figure out this rolling over thing real soon. If I could just arch my back and pick up my leg at the same time, I know I could do it. I am drinking 5 oz bottles now and with no tummy or poopie problems. I'm still sleeping great at night.

Daddy got us a new camera. So do you know what that means people? More pictures of me! Get excited! To bad for mommy and daddy, I make all my cute smiles when they don't have the camera ready. Once they pull it out, I just turn off the cuteness. It's a little game I love to play on them.

I put together my first girls night at my house on Saturday with my Auntie Erin, Auntie Stephanie and my friends Cami and Sydney. We were suppose to play, but I fell asleep before everybody got there. I heard they had fun without me. I need to plan my parties earlier.

Well, I hope everybody has a great week.

Smooches,
EJB

Happy Valentine's Day,

What a week I had. I started school and I love it. I have made new friends to play with all day long. There is so much to do there with all the toys. I get to hang-out with people my own age now. I do miss having my mommy and daddy around, but they are busy at work. Since I don't nap a lot during the day, I sleep during the night better. I'm always tired by the end of my busy day.

I also went to a party with mommy. Well, they called it a shower, but we didn't get wet. I was confused. I just sat around while mommy's friend opened a lot of gifts. I got to see my friend Sydney for awhile.

Daddy got me a cute teddy bear for Valentine's Day. It's as big as me. Mommy has been giving me extra kisses today.

Time for me to go take another nap. I have to rest up for another busy week.

Smooches,

Elia

Hello Everybody,

I didn't get a minute yesterday to post something because I had to go to a Super Bowl party. I didn't get to see the whole game because my bedtime is at 8:00pm.
Today was a bad day for me. I had to go to the doctors for a check up. He made me wait around in my diaper for almost a hour. Then I got 2 shots in my leg and I had to drink this yucking medicine. It didn't go so well. I spit the medicine back up (along with my bottle) and they made me drink it again. The shots really hurt. I thought my mommy was going to cry. Then my parents got really excited when the doctor said that they don't have to wake me up every 4 hours during the night. Now we all can get some sleep. After that, I had to sit in my car seat for 2 hours while daddy had his tax meeting. Just when I think I'm going home, they take me to my school (Goddard). Mommy got all my stuff ready for me to start tomorrow. I hope to make some new friends. It's hard being the only baby around this house. I will let you know how I do at school later on this week. The last stop was at the bank to get some paper notarized for my Nina and Papa. My parents drove me all over the place. They are lucky I slept most of the time. Well I have to go do my tummy time and my kickes. A girl has to stay fit.

Kisses,
Elia

PS: I'm weighing 12.3 and my length is 22. New things: I say "ah", "oh", "uh" and some funny noise with my tongue. I have all different kinds of smiles now. Mommy put my highchair together and I love to sit in it. I supervise when she is making my bottles.
